SHH Entry for 'Bring me the bacon challenge 2015/16'

This is the SHH vehicle entry for the ‘Bring me the bacon challenge 2015/16’

The plan so far is to use Macaba’s Segway like base on which to build vehicle it requires the following:

  • Segway base - Macaba
  • Arduino + shield for motor interface + ribbon cable - Macaba
  • I2C based 10 DOF GY80 - Gingebot
  • UART based GPS GY-GPS6mv2 - Gingebot
  • Arm Linux (RPi) or similar - Folknology
  • LioN Battery + charger for above - Folknology
  • Uplink to base station (if we are allowed) - ?
  • Based station for GPS correction - ?
  • Electronics & Bacon Butty carrying mechanicals - ?
  • Other stuff ???

We are discussing the plan at this evening’s meeting (24/09/2015) and need to check out the course at the next Sunday 4th October
