I’m pleased to announce that we now have https://wiki.shmakerspace.org/.
I realise we are having more and more web services for the space, but I would be interested to see the usage of a wiki page. Over the past few weeks of my space projects - such as the rotary axis and the desoldering station - I realise that we should really be creating instructions/guides/tutorials somewhere that can be easily captured and shared.
This particular wiki software is based on the simple concept of ‘bookshelves’. There are shelves, books, and pages, an organisational structure that is quite simple but practical. There could be a ‘book’ on the laser, for example, or a whole shelf dedicated to makerspace equipment.
There are no contents yet, but I’ll write some for it over the next few days so we can explore its features. I have enabled user signups so you can create your own accounts - if you would like to be a wiki editor please let me know and I will provide you with the right permissions.
