First there were French cleats, then there was GridFinity

Longstanding members of the makerspace will recall that the organisation of tools and equipment has always been challenged by a lack of space.

More than once we’ve resorted to using a system of French cleats, convenient, angled,
wall mounted battons that can accept anything with a matching opposite angled cleat attached to it.

You may also be familiar with Zack Freedman’s GridFinity. That wonderful 3D printed universal storage concept, based upon a rectangluar grid with customisable storage boxes that locate within an underlying grid.

Now evolution has worked it’s magic and a fusion of these two ideas has emerged:
FrenchFinity.

I now contemplate a future populated by rows of well aligned profiled storage units adorning our walls!
