Annabel Allum Perceptible Festival Sunday 22nd Sept. 4pm -10pm at the Boileroom

The Boileroom have offered us a table at the Perceptible Festival this Sunday. An opportunity to show off the Makerspace and perhaps sell some laser cut/3D printed items to raise some funds.
Anyone who would like to help out on the stall, or perhaps suggest some customisable designs that we could run off on the laser cutter for people to buy on the day, please get in touch!

Here are the event details on the web.

Summary below:

Perceptible Festival is an all day event encompassing the most interesting & eclectic acts and artists across the region. Spread across two stages featuring acts exclusively handpicked by Guildford’s Annabel Allum and craft stalls galore, this will be her first hometown show in 4 years.

Annabel Allum

At her most visceral, Annabel is a troubadour for the millennial age, with vitriolic explosions of ferociously grungy guitar and gut-wrenching honesty, deftly attuned to observations of what lies beyond her Lennon-framed lenses. When contemplative, Annabel is an astute poet; praised as much for her words, as for her imagination and sensitivity - a DIY artist in the truest sense.

Long marked out as one to watch, the swell of praise for Annabel Allum from all corners is resounding. Long-time championed by BBC Radio 1, she’s made the daytime playlist, had a live session at the iconic Maida Vale studios as well as performing on their SXSW stage, a festival which she’s now taken by storm twice. Other notable shows include a dream-come-true emotional performance at Reading festival, as well as The Great Escape; tours with Nadine Shah, Sleeper and Beth Ditto have been the perfect way to cut her teeth in the presence of esteemed artists.

This event will be raising funds for local charity RASASC (Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre).

Sorry, we’ll be busy helping out at the Fiery Bird’s Americana Festival in Woking. This is too short notice, unfortunately :frowning:

I have shared the Boileroom’s facebook event for this, under our SHM FB page and linked via our Twitter as well.

Can I grab some of those to use on the Facebook page?

Of course @Claire_Lonsdale , you are welcome.
